Il conto alla rovescia è ufficialmente iniziato: mancano 24 giorni a
Natale!
Quest’anno voglio godermi ogni singolo giorno di aria natalizia, dopo
due anni passati al caldo e senza neve, me lo merito! Voglio rispolverare le
mie meravigliose palline per l’albero, rigorosamente tutte rosse e dorate,
voglio incartare con cura i regali, voglio bere il vin brulé (che fa tanto
inverno!) e mangiare quintali di panettone e pandoro, voglio guardare scendere
la neve silenziosa e andare a sciare, voglio fare a pallate e le gare sul bob
con mio nipote, voglio vedere le lucine accendersi in ogni angolo del paese…
Intanto ho tirato fuori dal baule il mio calendario dell’avvento: un
Babbo Natale fatto a maglia con già qualche anno sulle spalle, ma pur sempre
in grande forma! E quest’anno è anche trendy, visto che il punto pelliccia fa
capolino in ogni giornale e vetrina!

The countdown has officially begun: there are 24 days to Christmas!
This year I want to enjoy every single day of Christmas time, after two years
spent with warm weather and
without snow, I deserve it! I
want to dust off my wonderful balls for the
tree, strictly in red and gold, I want to carefully wrap
the presents, I want to drink hot and
spiced wine and eat tons of
Panettone and Pandoro, I want to watch snowflakes falling silent and
go skiing, I want to throw snowballs and race on the bob with my nephew, I want to see my village illuminated with lots of white lights
in every corner...
Meanwhile, I pulled out of the trunk my advent
calendar: a knitted Santa Claus
a few years old, but still in great shape! And this year he
looks even more trendy as his fake fur stitch peeps out from every magazine and
shop window!
And I take
