Wispy

E' già qualche settimana che il mio Wispy è finito, ma ho aspettato un'occasione speciale per indossarlo e fare qualche scatto. In realtà questo coprispalle era nato per essere indossato sopra il vestito del matrimonio di mia sorella, ma poi il colore del Featherweight è risultato essere migliore e quindi ha vinto lui. Poco male, i bellissimi colori arancio e corallo del mio Wispy (il filato che ho usato è Ella Rae Merino Lace) stanno benissimo sul nero . . . et voilà!

It has already been a few weeks that my Wispy is finished, but I waited a special occasion to wear it and take some photos. In reality this shrug was born to be worn with the dress I choose for my sister's wedding, but as the color of the Featherweight was more appropriate, it won the competition. Not bad, the wonderful coral and orange colors of my Wipsy (the yarn I used is Ella Rae Merino Lace) mix very well with black . . . et voilà!

Gioia | Joy

Ieri ho ricevuto i filati ordinati da due deliziosi negozi australiani online. Pura gioia, avevo davvero bisogno di una bella dose di lana e cotone!

Yesterday I got the yarns I've ordered from a couple of nice Australian online shops. Pure joy, I really needed a dose of good wool and cotton!

 

Da Tangled Yarns, ho acquistato 4 gomitoli di Brown Sheep Cotton Fine in uno spettacolare color corallo chiaro, un pesca scuro per capirsi, e dei bottoni in legno davvero carini che utilizzerò sicuramente a breve visto che ho già tra le mani il nuovo Knitbook Essentials della Quince & Co con i migliori capi realizzati da Hannah Fettig.

From Tangled Yarns, I bought 4 balls of Brown Sheep Cotton Fine in a spectacular light coral color, a deep peach color, and some very cute wood buttons that I'm going to use very soon as I've already in my hands the new Knitbook Essentials by Quince & Co, featuring the best patterns designed by Hannah Fettig.

Da Yay for Yarn invece mi sono concessa due belle matasse di Ella Rae Merino Lace, anche queste sui toni del corallo, dall'arancio al rosato, perfette per il mio nuovo progetto che è già sui ferri. Ma non vi svelo il segreto, ve lo farò vedere solo una volta finito, vi dico solo che è qualcosa di speciale per un evento speciale. Per ora voglio condividere con voi solo la felicità di ricevere dei tanto attesi e desiderati filati, sono sicura che mi capirete in pieno! =)

From Yay for Yarn I instead bought two wonderful skeins of Ella Rae Merino Lace, in coral tones too, from orange to pink, perfect for my new project that is already on the needles. But I'm not going to reveil my secret yet, I'll show you once it will be finished, I can just say that is something special for a special occasion. For now I will share with you all the happiness of receiving the long awaited and desired yarns, I'm sure you fully understand me! =)
