Carli's technique reviews

Ho avuto un’idea e ho deciso di metterla in pratica, anche se probabilmente sconvolgerà un po’ i miei piani e mi farà fare le ore piccole (ormai sapete quanto mi piace fare la maglia e perdere tempo alla ricerca dei modelli “giusti”!).

Eccola qui: eseguire almeno un capo per ognuna delle tecniche che mi sono venute in mente e che secondo me meritano di essere approfondite. Alcune le ho già provate, altre sono per me del tutto nuove, quindi accetto più che volentieri consigli e dritte, ma anche, ovviamente, critiche (cercate però di non essere troppo cattivi!).

Questo è l’elenco, che a lungo andare subirà per certo modifiche e aggiornamenti.

• Lavoro a colori (Icelanding, Fair Isle, Intarsia, Double Knitting…)
• Trecce
• I-cord
• Punto smocking
• Effetto pizzo
• Entrelac
• Un paio di calzini e/o guanti
• Ferri accorciati
• Infeltrimento
• Lavoro reversibile
• Lavorare con le perline
•  Tintura a mano

L’obiettivo che mi sono prefissata sarebbe quello di eseguire un capo al mese, ma ce la farò? Forse sì, ma probabilmente no, intanto a breve vi svelerò la prima prova!

 

I had an idea and I decided to put it into practice, although probably it will change my plans and let me stay up until late (you should know by now how much I like knitting and how many hours I spend looking for the right patterns!).

Here it is: realize at least one item for each of the techniques that came to my mind and that I think deserve to be studied a little more. I have already tried some of them, but others are completely new to me, so I am more than willing to accept any tips and tricks, but also, of course, critics (but try not to be too bad!).

This is the list, which will suffer for sure changes and updates.

The goal is to knit something from each category per month, but I'll make it? Maybe, but probably not, anyway I will soon reveal the first try!
